Overview
The SMX-16
is a high capacity SDH Multiplexer which can multiplex standard PDH
and SDH bit rates up to 2.5 Gbit/s(STM-16) also have various application
mode(TERM, REG, Linear ADM , UPSR and BLSR-2F). Because of this wide
range in capacity this system is useful element in building efficient
and flexible network and used in regional and backbone network. The
SMX-16 transmits at STM-16(2.5Gbps) bit rate and tributary signals
are STM-4(622Mbps), STM-1(155Mbps) and DS-3(45Mbps). The SMX-16 can
accept ATM level signal(AU-4-Xc) and has full cross connect capability(48x48
VC3). For easy maintance, the SMX-16 has GUI terminal and TMN Q interface.
