Overview
EASTEL SYSTEMS
ADSL-RT supports
Universal Serial BUS of both desktop and laptop computers and offers
plug and play function. Eastel Systems' ADSL Modem is the ideal
solution for all high-performance applications for residential consumers
and telecommuters. Eastel Systems' ADSL-RT will accelerate applications
such as Internet and Intranet access, Web-based research, video
conferencing, network gaming, multimedia, large e-mail attachments
and more. Eastel Systems' ADSL-RT has the functions from the Universal
Serial Bus(USB) to the hybrid interface for an ITU G.992.2 Digital
Subscriber Line (DSL) modem.
The Universal Serial Bus is specially designed to add external periphery
to a computer system in a fast and easy way. On top of that it enables
applications like high-speed Internet access over an ADSL modem.
The Universal Serial Bus is becoming the most popular computer interface.
Software stacks, operating under Microsoft’s Windows 98 operating
system, are provided to support classical IP/ATM, PPP/ATM and RFC
1483 protocols.
